Interventional Radiology Coding and Billing Boot CampSM

Questions/Answers

What is the focus of the Interventional Radiology Coding and Billing Boot Camp Version course

This four-day boot camp will feature in-depth explanations of key interventional radiology billing and coding rules. This course will focus on both facility (technical) and physician (professional) coding and billing for interventional radiology procedures. Interventional radiology procedures are minimally invasive, targeted treatments performed using imaging for guidance. These procedures have less risk, less pain, and less recovery time compared to open surgery. Common interventional radiology procedures include angioplasty and catheter-delivered stents.

Note: Many billing concepts can vary by the state and payer, the concepts covered in this is class are covered at a national guideline level. The fundamental focus of this course is correct CPT coding and modifier assignment for interventional radiology cases.
